I have been pretty busy as of late. My mom tore muscles inside her stomach and had some internal bleeding to cause her to go to the hospital. She's alot better and even back at work now. During the chaos, though, I wasn't able to get my passport in time for Aruba. Pretty shitty couple of weeks for life outside of poker.
Finally playing well along with the combination of running well. I was able to get 2nd this past week in the UB $200k for $26.5k. That along with other good WCOOP finishes helped a nice profit from 2+2 and P5's prop bets. I just got xbox live, so I've been playing alot of Halo 3. I'm not that good, but it's more just for fun/venting.
The whole schedule I had mapped out to go play the past few months totally fell through. I've planned on going to WPT Niagara in Canada on Oct 26th. It's a $10k buy in w/ a sick structure so I'll be looking forward to it. After that my next stop will probably be Aussie for the Aussie Millions. That's in January though, so I'll worry about that after Niagara.
Just thought I'd post a quick update since I had some free time. OH and go Indians! I made a bet before the MLB season at 12/1 for the tribe to win the World Series. So risk 250 to win 3k, but I don't sports bet often if hardly any.

Home soon
I'm leaving Atlanta tomorrow and coming back to Greenville. I saw the Braves lose to the Mets on Saturday but it was a good time. I've been staying with a friend Nat Arem and went to play Sunday tournaments at Yellowsub's place in Athens today. It was a nice getaway from Greenville and I now have a week till I leave for WSOPE. I still need to find my passport which worries me. Oh, and if I overwrite stuff from before just disregard it since I don't read my last post. It's more of a spontaneous bored type of thing. Before I went to Atlanta I stayed a night with some friends from high school at UNC. It was okay but the sororities were doing a no boys no booze week or something so it was somewhat a sausage party. Anywho, I bought a ballin recliner from Bostic Sugg Wednesday but won't get a chance to really test it out till I get back home. Also thinking about getting an Iphone since I lost my ipod (again) and don't enjoy my Verizon service (pretty much all phone services are equally shitty so what's the difference). I'll post a pic of my recliner before I (hopefully) leave for London on Saturday.

Overdue update
August 7th I won the Stars $100k guaranteed for $29kish to begin the break out of a huge slump I was in (partly due to lack of volume). I turned 19 on August 9th and went to Verona NY to Turning Stone for another tournament series.
Everything had gone wrong including a flight delay over 14 hours, lost AJ to 74 all in on a A88 flop in the $300 6max, $1k final table bubble (12th), and had bruised/swollen/almost fractured my left index finger playing kickball. Seriously WTF? I get back from the Emergency room about 4am and get a solid 5 hours of sleep before the $5k day 1.
After starting with 10k in chips I ended day 1 the shortest stack still in with 6600. After easily the most frustrating day of live poker ever, I somehow ninja'ed my way to 78,200 going into day 3 for the final table at the 1200/2400/300a level. Run good, play good, chop 4 ways when one guy offers up 10k in equity after saying he'd be happy with $75k. So I ended up benefiting somewhat getting $105k out of the deal. Of course I'm backed so I get a percent. Anyone who thinks all players buy in to events like these are either naive or ignorant with bankroll management.
I'll be going to Atlanta this upcoming weekend to see them host the Mets Saturday at 3:55pm. While there I'll be staying with Nat Arem and probably go visit Yellowsub and the domeski crew. I'll try to give a more detailed TS trip report later.

TS trip update
So far, so bad. Flight delays and other ridiculous bullshit caused me to miss the first $300+40 freezeout. I played the $200 rebuy today and ran pretty bad to bust 38th out of 140. I wasin for 1800 and played pretty optimally but what can you do.
I won the Stuper the other night (Aug 7th) for 29k to get out of an online slump I'd been in. It was a pretty decent birthday present for when I turned 19 on the 9th. Debating on getting a few hours sleep and playing the bounty tournament tomorrow or sleeping in/scheduling a massage. So far up $500 in Wii tennis props husting Shaundeeb. More shananigans of stories of me losing money to come.

Vegas Pics
I said I'd upload them later so here they are. The complex I stayed in @ Aaron and Kush's place is called Panorama Towers. It's located behind the Bellagio and is a 5 minute ride to the Rio. Some of the balcony pictures are reflections. The dudes you see on the DDR machine is my friends Mig.com and TwistedEcho. You might say "LOL DDR SO GHEY" but if I won a bracelet I'd be dancing too! Here is a pokernews video with Mig after he won Event 22 $5k NLHE. TwistedEcho is from London and they do everything backwards over there anyway so whatever. Those were the 2 best excuses I can come up with why you could reason dancing in an arcade in public in Vegas. Here is a slideshow from my photobucket albumn since I am too lazy to resize them right now.

Bad beats are funny when they happen to other people
http://www.pokerhand.org/?1328138
This happened to some poor soul (who actually took it quite well) in the Stuper Thursday night. Notice the discard. Also, I went and saw "The Bourne Ultimatum" tonight and wow it is entertaining. I would say "I'm gonna try to post more poker content" and everything, but I don't want to kid you. I'm pretty lazy and this is a blog I don't get paid for so don't get offended if I am super lazy and don't update it.

Watch Flight of the Conchords
Most of July I just sort of took it easy on the poker and partied more. But I have been unable to stop laughing after this new show on HBO that comes on after Entourage. It's a new comedy on hbo about two New Zealanders (sp?) that move to New York. They have a band and have different random songs/videos each episode. Jemaine and Bret are pretty funny characters in the new series "Flight of the Conchords."
I also decided to torture myself for the month of August by teaming up with YourTimeIsUp/Stealthmunk for the P5's PLB challenge. I think I have been playing well of late but no results have kind of made me hungry again so I figure this challenge should help me get back into my groove. August also has all those sick FTOPS events but I will be at Turning Stone from the 10th to the 20th. I'm more leaning towards skipping EPT Barcelona now because of how much of a hassle it would be to fit in between TS and WSOPE/EPT London in September. I don't really post much poker content on here except for trip reports so I'll try to do one for TS.
